Brief

Yeri takes the stage this week performing OT, exclusively on Unreel Sessions.

Yeri, a Nigerian artist based in Canada, resides in Toronto and has a distinct musical style known as "Afro-Chill." This style is a fusion of different genres such as Afro-Beats, Afro-Fusion, R&B, and Alte music. Over the past six years, Yeri has been actively involved in writing, singing, and performing at various events. He is known for creating catchy hooks that are inspired by his observations of the world around him. Yeri's music is influenced by artists like Burna Boy, Illpriest, Jhus, Fela Kuti, and Wizkid. In 2020, Yeri released two EPs, "1804" and "Welcome To The Jungle," which are available on various digital streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. Yeri has collaborated with other artists such as Ziad, Kwado, Coco Chanel, and Savagebeat. To enhance his skills and knowledge, he participated in the Sketch Program for youth, Unity Charity workshop, and Music Business Essentials course with Purna Music from Montreal in 2021. Yeri is currently working with a professional mentor and musician Sarah Shafey to further develop his craft.
